Truffle Hunt & Stay

Some guests don't want research to be just an afternoon detour, they actually prefer to stay in the Langhe to do it. Langhe Truffle has two apartments in La Morra, one of the most popular villages in the area, precisely for this reason. One can accommodate up to six people, the other up to four, so you can wake up in the hills instead of driving somewhere else.

Each apartment is designed as an adequate base, not just a place to sleep: two bedrooms, a living room with a flat-screen TV, a kitchen if you want to cook yourself, a balcony, access to a terrace and private parking on site.

Book your night (or a few) and then decide how to spend your time with Massimiliano: the 90-minute direct search, the search followed by the full lunch with tasting at the farmhouse or the combination of early search and breakfast, whichever fits the rest of your stay. Each one is booked and has a separate price, just as it would be for a guest on a day trip, only easier to adapt when you're already five minutes from the woods.

It ends up being less of a single experience than a small base of operations, in a village that most visitors cross only to go somewhere else.
